Plant origin. It contains active emollient, soothing and healing properties to treat delicate mucous membranes. High in polysaccharides, it helps regulate skin hydration. It is a natural colloid, derived from some fifteen varieties of African acacias, and offers numerous valuable benefits including forming a protective barrier to trap tissue moisture. (Note : "The Treatise on Eyes", recorded in the Ebers Papyrus, contains nearly a hundred medical formulas for different eye diseases : the acacia plant in all its various forms was commonly used in ancient Egypt during the time of the Pharoahs.

Phytic acid

Plant origin. A wheat plant extract, phytic acid is a natural molecule found widely in cereal grains. It is rich in valuable properties : it prevents the build-up of free radicals and protects the skin against their harmful effects; it helps to counter and reduce dark spots and pigmentation marks on the skin.

Plant origin. A blend of essential fatty acids, this semi-solid substance is compatible with intercellular matter, and therefore provides efficient skin hold, and helps the absorption of active ingredients. An excellent emollient and anti-aging agent, it is also a high-performance moisturizing ingredient, able to hold twice its weight in water on to the skin's surface.
